Sustainability

fast fashion isn't free. someone somewhere is paying

Our label is not just a brand, it is a whole lifestyle because for us beauty means not only aesthetic designs from the outside but also carrying the right values from the inside. It means thinking about the impact our actions can have on our fellow human beings, and our environment today and in the future. We take responsibility for the way our products are manufactured. Because this has a major impact on our environment in the long term. We attach great importance to making this impact as responsible as possible for people, animals, and nature.

Fabrics

About 50% of our swimwear is made from recycled fabrics, which are derived from marine waste such as discarded nylon fishing nets, plastic bottles, as well as waste materials. We will use more and more recycled fabrics in each upcoming collection until we eventually offer only recycled fabrics. All our fabrics are certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX ®. This means that the fabrics are strictly tested for harmful substances.

Ethics

Under what working conditions is production carried out?

Our partners for the production of our swimwear are located in Bali. It is based on fair and ethical working conditions and offers each employee a wage well above the minimum wage and a 13-month annual salary, as well as a vacation allowance of two months' salary once a year. Each employee receives free health insurance, including a spouse and up to three children, which covers all medical expenses, prescription drugs, and hospitalization. Overtime is available at any time and is paid at 1.5 to 3 times the hourly rate of pay, depending on the number of hours and days worked. The workrooms are air-conditioned and meet western standards.

Furthermore, with every order we place, a donation is made to "Bali Street Moms", a local charity organization that takes care of the rehabilitation of street children and mothers who would otherwise survive in garbage dumps. As part of their program, they provide the children with clothing, hygiene items, and a transitional home where they are taught basic health, reading, and writing skills to help them enroll in a local school and integrate into society.
